From our weekly services to our special events, we here at the Lighthouse Baptist Church, enjoy a great time of faith and fellowship.

Our weekly Sunday School and Worship Service, are always followed by a time of fellowship with coffee or tea and cookies.  Once a month we serve cake to celebrate the birthdays and anniversaries within the month.

Thursday afternoons and evenings, our “Journey Into the Bible” is a relaxed bible study.  These studies are a great way to fellowship with one another as well as with the Word of God.

Prayer is the most powerful tool we have on this earth and it’s the direct connection to the One who answers them.  Prayer groups meet weekly.

The women of the Lighthouse join together once a month for “Beacons of Joy”.  The “Beacons”   are  a group especially for women.  They plan a variety of events both within the church and in outreach and service.  Every other Tuesday the women’s “Son-Shine Breakfast Club” meets at the Chris’s Diner on Tilghman Street at 9:00 for breakfast and fellowship.  These activities are open to all women.

For the men of the Lighthouse, the second and fourth Thursday of the month is the “Men’s Fellowship Breakfast” which meets at the Hometown Diner at 9:00AM for breakfast and fellowship.

The Lighthouse also offers various special events and services.  Easter Holy week features a Maundy Thursday service and an Easter sunrise service followed by breakfast. During the summer months we have an annual picnic and a group outing to Knoebels amusement park.  Christmas is also a special time of year with a variety of gatherings and a Christmas Eve service.

The children and youth are also a vital part of the Lighthouse.  “Children’s Church” is held on Sunday mornings during our Worship Service time. In addition, our yearly Push The Rock and Vacation Bible School offer a week long program for children ages 5 and up.

The basis behind all of our services and gatherings is to proclaim the Gospel Message, share the joy of Salvation and to have fellowship with one another through the love of Christ.
